We had a great 4th of July weekend. It is rare that Derek will have 2 days off in a row so we were very happy. We had a great BBQ with Derek's family and his brother put on an awesome firework show. Jane loved the fireworks. She was so exhausted from not napping all day and everything going on that she fell asleep in the swing. We had big plans for monday but nothing was going our way. It was cloudy, windy, the boat harbor was closed and the power steering went out on Derek's truck for the 4TH TIME! That put a stop to us going boating so we ended up hanging out at home instead. We are always busy with different things so it was nice to just stay home and relax. We lit some sparklers for Jane, grilled some pizza and watched a movie. It was a great weekend!
